Joule, SAP’s generative AI copilot

This year’s event highlighted meaningful advancements in how SAP Concur is evolving through AI and financial integrations. One of the key announcements was the introduction of Joule, SAP’s generative AI copilot, now being embedded across Concur solutions. In Concur Expense, Joule helps users assemble expense timelines, flag inconsistencies, and offer real-time suggestions—steps that aim to reduce reporting time and errors. These capabilities align well with the ongoing need for efficiency and accuracy in spend management.

On the travel side, Joule is being positioned to assist with planning offsite meetings by suggesting potential locations and estimating travel costs based on where attendees are coming from.
